Dzifa Attivor has indicated that the re-registration exercise for all government vehicles will cost the nation an amount of Ghs1.5 million. An expected15 thousand government vehicles would be re-registered. According to her, government will be responsible for all expenses and finances and ensure that nobody use the opportunity to siphon money from the nations coffers. She explained that the amount will cover the manufacturing of number plates, printing of documents and other materials relating to the re-registration exercise. The President, in his first State of the Nation Address directed that proactive system should be implemented to monitor the movement and utilization of all motorized vehicles belonging to the government.
