PPP will demonstrate until Ghana is corruption free-Ms Eva Lokko

The vice presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP),Miss  Eva Lokko has indicated that the party will not stop demonstrating  against corruption until pragmatic solutions and steps are ruled out by government to curb it.

Ms Eva Lokko spearheaded the demonstration against corruption dubbed “ayefe notse” in Accra on Thursday.

The party marched through some principal street of Accra to campaign and demonstrate against the canker.
Hundreds of demonstrators were clad in red attire, wielding placard with different inscription: some reads “Chop, chop go kill Ghana,” "Incorruptible leadership, our goal," "Say No to corruption," "Abuse of poverty too much,” and "Put our interest first" to drum home their demand.
According to Ms Lokko, “From today, we will organize activities to let Ghanaians know what corruption is about and how it is affecting every single person in the country, regardless of your status in this country.”

She was optimistic that Ghanaians will soon understand that corruption is what is stopping the country from developing.

The demonstrators entreated the government to lead a crusade of accountability in the management of public resources since most public office holders are “mining” the state’s coffers.
