What about “Real image –Ghana”.

What about “Real image –Ghana”.

Real image- Ghana is a Public relation (PR) and advertising consultancy that seek to rebrand, project and protect the image of agencies and companies.

Basically, this company is a student initiative which came into being with an attempt to project the image of Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) on the theme “I love GIJ”.

Supervised by a lecturer, Mr Awuku and managed by Mr Elorm Kwahu Mawuli, a student, Real Image has made various strides on and off campus with its campaign messages going down on social media and spines of students.

Shareholders
This initiative was solely brewed by level200 students of GIJ hence the shareholders of this company is students. The class with a population of about 89 students, each holds 1% of shares totaling to an amount of Ghc80.

Currently the company, according to the Public Relation Officer (PRO), Sebastian Awaya is worth over Ghc7000.

The First Project

Though the class had embarked successfully on first its first project on humanitarian grounds at Ayenya No. 1 ably supervised by Richard Dzikunu Mawutor (class rep) and co-ordinated by Joshua Kweikuma Quaye (executive member of the class), the class is yet to organized its second project under the brand name “Real Image- Ghana” on the theme “I Love GIJ” hence making it first since its rebranding.

The Motive

The motive of the initiative is basically to project the image of GIJ. Student we believe cannot only love their parents, boyfriends or girlfriend and cannot show their love through the entry and exit of GIJ but also profess it with their mouth, mind and soul through organized programs on and off campus.

Expectancy

We again believe that at the end of the campaign about 25million of Ghana population would know about GIJ. The government will tend to whole heartedly support the school through the expansion of it subsidies, hostels, new campuses and learning materials.

REAL IMAGE - PROMOTING THE IMAGE AND INTEREST OF GIJ.
