Internal squabble won’t tear NPP apart - Fred Oware

Indeed there are some issues that the party has to deal with but I don't think it is tearing the party apart, said Mr. Oware, the Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He is convinced that the internal disagreement and squabble within the leadership of the NPP will not divide the party

Media reports have indicated that the constituency election of the NPP was fraught with fierce anger and disagreement leading to abrupt end of some constituency poll.
But Mr. Oware maintained that those reports are false in that they do not represent the true information of events.

He said "We would have wished that we did not have these problems but the fact that the elections were halted in about three or four out of 43 constituencies due to some problems perhaps is not a justification that there is a huge problem going on in the party.”

Reacting to some rescheduled election in the Northern region, he noted indicated that those elections were not held because there were some religious activities going on.
